The Role
We are looking for a Head of Finance to oversee the Group’s reporting, analysis, budgeting & forecasting, compliance, financial planning and risk management. The role will suit a dynamic individual who is able to communicate financial and non-financial information to the management team in a concise and actionable manner as well as challenging the current approach to find process and control efficiencies and improvements.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Finance to join a fast-paced, dynamic consumer-focused business.
The job holder is expected to proficiently undertake the following tasks:
1. Oversee and deliver internal and external financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance. This includes monthly management accounts and statutory accounts for our 3 trading entities (UK, US, Netherlands).
2. Manage the Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes providing insightful analysis and recommendations to management.
3. Drive improvements to financial processes and controls identifying and delivering areas for improvement. Focus on transactional accuracy and robust processes across all financial operations.
4. Collaborate with other areas of the business such as Operations and Sales to ensure alignment of financial objectives with business operations.
5. Responsibility for treasury management including cashflow reporting and forecasting and managing foreign currency accounts.
6. Oversee tax compliance including local requirements for overseas entities and VAT compliance for obligations arising on exports.
7. Managing and developing the small Finance team to achieve these objective and develop their career progress.

The Person
To carry out the duties above, the following skills, competencies and experiences are necessary:
1) Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
2) Experience of running a finance team to deliver reporting and analysis objectives.
3) Able to communicate at all levels and present to management.
4) Experience working in a growth environment and meeting regular deadlines
5) Ambitious, keen and driven. Ability to get “hands-on” where necessary.
